Valentine’s Day FAQs
Are Valentine’s Day experiences customizable?
Customization varies by experience:
Sweetheart Experience: Pre-set design, no customization
Love Note Experience: Curated palette with limited customization
Classic & Grand Experiences: Fully styled with personalization options
What locations do you service on Valentine’s Day?
For February 14th only, Valentine’s Day installations are limited to Downtown Dallas locations.
This allows our team to manage multiple installations efficiently and deliver the highest level of service during peak demand.
Installations on surrounding dates may be available in additional areas, subject to availability.
Will you arrive at the exact time selected during booking?
Arrival times are scheduled within a service window, not a guaranteed exact time.
The time selected at booking is used for scheduling purposes only. For Valentine’s Day installations, our team will arrive within a two-hour arrival window based on the selected time.
Example:
If a client selects 4:00 PM, our team may arrive any time between 4:00–6:00 PM.
This flexibility allows us to account for hotel access delays, elevator availability, traffic, prior installations, and on-site coordination to ensure every setup is executed flawlessly.
How is access handled for hotel installations?
Clients must add the assigned decorator by name to the hotel reservation in advance — no exceptions.
For hotel installations, a Classy Creations decorator must be listed as an authorized guest on the reservation to ensure smooth access. This allows our team to retrieve keys, coordinate with the front desk, and complete the installation without delays.
Installations cannot proceed if:
We are not added to the reservation
Access is not granted upon arrival
The client expects to meet our team in the lobby
Failure to provide proper access may result in delays or cancellation without refund.
Will you meet clients in the lobby or at the property?
No. We do not meet clients or recipients in the lobby or on-site.
To maintain efficiency and discretion during peak Valentine’s Day scheduling, all installations are completed without in-person handoff. Our team will proceed directly to the room or space using pre-arranged access.
How will your team access the hotel room?
The assigned decorator must be added to the hotel reservation by name prior to arrival. Full details are provided after booking.
Can I meet the decorator in the lobby instead?
No. For Valentine’s Day installations, lobby meet-ups and on-site handoffs are not permitted. Access must be pre-arranged in advance.
What happens if the decorator is not added to the reservation?
If the assigned decorator is not added to the hotel reservation in advance and access is denied upon arrival, the installation cannot proceed. Delays or cancellations resulting from lack of access are non-refundable.
Access requirements are strictly enforced during Valentine’s Day due to limited availability and tightly scheduled installations.
Can I choose my banner phrase?
Sweetheart Experience: Choose ONE phrase from the pre-set options listed. Custom phrases are not available.
Love Note Experience and above: Custom banner wording is available.
Is next-day cleanup included?
Sweetheart & Love Note: Day-of setup only (no next-day cleanup)
Classic & Grand: Next-day cleanup is included
Additional cleanup services may be added where available.
Does the client need to be present during the decoration process?
No. Clients may not be present during the installation.
For Valentine’s Day experiences, all installations are completed without the client present to ensure efficiency, safety, and the integrity of the surprise. This policy allows our team to execute each setup seamlessly and on schedule during peak demand.
Clients must provide confirmed access to the space in advance (hotel coordination or residence access).
To ensure efficiency and preserve the surprise, installations cannot proceed if a client or recipient is present.
This policy is strictly enforced and no exceptions can be made on Valentine’s Day.
Do you provide candles?
Yes. Candle styling is included where listed.
Live candles are used only where permitted by the venue.
What if I don’t have my hotel or Airbnb booked yet?
No problem. You may book your experience first and provide your final accommodation details at least 72 hours prior to your setup date.
Are Valentine’s Day bookings refundable?
All Valentine’s Day retainers are non-refundable due to limited availability and advance preparation.
How far in advance should I book?
Valentine’s availability is limited and often sells out. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred experience.
Do you come to private homes and Airbnbs?
Yes! We do!
Why is there a Private Residence Planning Fee?
Private residence setups require additional planning and coordination compared to hotel room installations. Homes vary in layout, space, access, and installation flow, while hotel rooms typically follow standardized designs. This fee helps ensure a show-stopping setup and a seamless experience from start to finish.
Do Airbnbs require a Private Residence Planning Fee?
Yes. Airbnbs are treated as private residences. Unlike hotels, Airbnb properties vary in layout, access instructions, parking, entry timing, and setup flow. The Private Residence Planning Fee covers the additional coordination required to ensure a seamless setup.
Do I have to know my exact hotel and room number when I book?
No! We require that you at least provide us with the city that you will be booking in when you reserve with us. You will need to provide your exact location 72 hours prior to your actual setup date.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled setup.
If your cancellation was made outside of 72 hours before the event date, we are happy to offer rescheduling, depending on availability.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer rescheduling for cancellations made within the 72-hour window.
Is Classy Creations responsible for booking hotel rooms and Airbnb's?
No. We only provide specially curated designs. We do not book your hotel or Airbnb.
